I believe an artist is contractually obligated to do a painting of lily pads once having visited Monet’s lily pad ponds at Giverny. This painting is my fulfillment of that little known contract.

There is something fishy about this painting. If you know fish or if you pay attention to details, there will be no doubt about it.
